Concrete sprayers are used to put concrete on the tunnel walls and roof of the underground tunnel to stop the rock from falling down.

The different types of machines at Macraes Mine include trucks, diggers, graders, drills, water trucks, loaders and bulldozers.

• The trucks are really big, 3 times higher than an adult.
• It would take a person with a shovel 48 days to full a dump truck.
• A dump truck can hold three fully grown elephants
• One dump truck wheel costs $30,000 dollars.
• A full dump truck weighs 350 tonnes
