Cross glory
Holy Cross School library shows Catholic character though it’s displays and books.
An example of a display is a mat which was a gift to our school. It was made by prisoners and is hanging in the library. This mat was given to Celeste our Principal from her friend who works at the prison. This mat shows Catholic character because it has Mary holding Jesus. On the mat it has the words E-Maria- Toku – Whaea.
It is special to have Catholic books in our library because we want to encourage people to read about our religion and faith. We put a lot of thought into choosing our books because we want people to know why our religion is special and to encourage children to think about the Gospel values.
