Nau mai haere mai welcome to our Living Heritage page. Waterloo is a large urban primary school located in the Hutt Valley, first established in 1938. We have a proud history having just celebrated our 75th Jubilee.

The school is organised into three teams, Juniors – Y1/2, Middles – Y3/4, and Seniors – Y5/6.

We are just a small group of year 4, 5 and 6 children. We started by exploring our own backgrounds, and identifying our iwi. We worked together supporting each other using the tuakana teina working model.

Our Vision: A community of learners, where effort is valued and excellence is celebrated.
