The closest volcano to Campbell's Bay is Cape

 Wanbrow and like all of the other volcanoes in

 Kakanui it's extinct.

Lots of people go to Campbell's Bay because it's

close to where most Kakanui

people live. There is another

reason though - that is it

has really good waves.

Mrs Campbell was very well known in the district. One of her jobs was to clean Kakanui school. Like I said before she was very well known in the district and her name was given to Campbell's Bay.

Campbell's Bay is on the Coast Road and it is to the south of Kakanui.
