There are four likely scenarios that will happen to the Johnsonville railway.

One:

The most likely scenario of these will be the bus way. This will involve a sort of railway track, but it will have buses running on it and will be next to the road. This has already been successful in the U.S.A and the United Kingdom.

Two:

The second scenario is the “Enhanced Rail Train.” This will involve enhancing the performance of the current railway track between Johnsonville and Wellington.

Three:

The next scenario involves turning the current railway track into a bike and walking way with the buses running down the same streets as they do now.

Four:

The fourth scenario involves running lighter rail vehicles on the current railway track.
