Research Process

The Wairakei Terraces were made to be a replica of the Pink and White Terraces that were blown up by Mount Tarawera. The Pink and White Terraces just appeared in Tarawera. When the company Netcor found out that the Pink and White Terraces were blown up, they wanted to make a man-made Wairakei Terraces in Taupo. Olivia, Maia and Rachelle visited the Wairakei Terraces with lots of thoughts already. When they came back from the Wairakei Terraces they had more thoughts than they had before. With their own Living Heritage story page they found out lots more on the internet and presented it on their Living Heritage page. The websites they found information on were really good because they had the information they needed for their research.
