Technology
On the 21st of August 2014 Lyall Bay School had a Technology Expo where we presented a display about The Story of Milk in New Zealand Schools, ‘Then’ and ‘Now’. Some of us dressed up in late 1930’s fashion, while the others dressed in black school tops.
We had students and parents come and ask us questions about the history of milk in New Zealand schools and the present milk in schools programme.
Most questions were challenging but we could answer them. It was a great test of our knowledge of the history of milk in schools.
Our display featured video interviews displayed on a large screen and a wall display with our photos and research. It included information about the first Labour Government, Fonterra and milk processing.
