The mouth organ band

In 1927, the Boomerang company kindly donated thirty mouth organs to Aramoho School. Those mouth organs were later replaced by newer ones. The band often played in concerts. In 1930 the school purchased uniforms for the band. The uniforms consisted of a black jersey with the school colours on the cuffs, collar and epaulettes, and a Glengarry cap, giving the lads a smart appearance.

This is Mr. E.G. Coddington the principal who started the mouth organ band. Next to him is a Boomerang mouth organ.
